Faded Light

lyrics album : Faded Light

Faded Light

  • In the valley where the velvet hills lie,
With a whispering wind and a starry sky,
I tread softly on this worn leather path,
    Where memories linger, echoing past.

The shadows dance in a midnight song,
As the world around me fades, it feels so wrong,
But the shattered silence calls my name,
In the twilight’s glow, nothing feels the same.

Underneath the ancient oak, where secrets are kept,
I recall the laughter, the promises we wept,
Through the thickets of time, I've wandered alone,
Yet here in the stillness, I find my way home.

With each step I take, the fireflies gleam,
Like fragments of dreams woven into the seams,
The twilight whispers of stories long told,
In the warmth of the past, I’m never too old.

The river still flows, with a soft murmur's sigh,
Guiding my heart as the night drifts by,
With a song in my soul and a wish on the breeze,
I find peace in the darkness, and the gentle trees.

So here in this moment, where the shadows unite,
I embrace the silence, the faded light bright,
For though the journey is long, and the night deep,
In the heart of the hills, my soul learns to leap.

As the dawn begins breaking, a promise unfolds,
With each fading star, a new story is told,
In the velvet embrace of the morning so clear,
I find solace and strength, and I’ll carry you near.
