Crimson Dusk

Crimson Dusk

  • As the day slips away, I’m walkin’ down this winding road,
With a trembling soul, and a burden too heavy to hold.
The fleeting light casts shadows that dance on my heart,
In this smoky tear-stained night, I feel we’ve drifted apart.

The moaning breeze whispers secrets we never could share,
Silent despair wraps around me, a cloak of despair.
Each step I take feels like a mile in this weary game,
With every breath I’m takin’, never quite the same.

I see the stars above, but they shine no light on me,
Just echoes of your laughter that used to set me free.
Now the twilight’s so thick, I can barely see your face,
The love we built together feels so out of place.

In the crimson dusk, where shadows play their tricks,
I drown my heart's sorrow deep in these old blues licks.
The road keeps winding on, but I’m stuck in yesterday,
Fingers stained with memories I just can’t throw away.

So I’ll sing my blues tonight, ‘neath this bittersweet sky,
Let the smoky tears fall, I won’t choke back my sigh.
For on this journey of sorrow, I’m learning to let go,
In the fading light of crimson, I’ll find my way back home.

With the stars as my guide, and the breeze as my friend,
I’ll carry these blues with me, but I know they won’t bend.
And when tomorrow comes, in the dawn's soft embrace,
I’ll rise anew with hope, leaving behind this place.

Blues

Crimson dusk, trembling soul, winding road, fleeting light, smoky tears, moaning breeze, silent despair
