Each crest a story, where the shadows play,

The salt in the air, it carries my fears,
Aching for the moments, washed away by tears.
Footprints in the sand, trailing off, unseen,
Holding onto secrets, like a fragile dream.
Golden hues above, as the stars ignite,
Cradled by the water, we drift through the night.
Where the moonlight dances, on the restless sea,
I find solace in the mystery, but it never sets me free.
The laughter of the gulls, mingles with the sighs,
And the rhythm of the waves, sings of countless goodbyes.
I'm searching for a lighthouse, in the storm's embrace,
But the light seems to flicker, just a memory's trace.
With every crashing wave, another chance to find,
The pieces of the past, that are tethered to my mind.
Though the horizon stretches, like a promise undone,
I’ll chase the falling sun, until the day is done.
So I’ll weave my stories, in the fabric of the tide,
Carving out the moments, where the truth and dreams collide.
And as I stand here aching, beneath this endless sky,
